COLLECTION OF ACADEMIC GOWNS BEGINS
Ahead of the upcoming convocation ceremony which is scheduled to hold from January 23rd to January 27th,the university management has instructed all graduands (B.sc, MSc/PGD) to pay the sum of ~N~36,000.00 for academic gown, convocation brochure and scrolls through POS in any of the bursary department of the university campuses (Ibogun,Ayetoro,Ikenne and main campus) and the refund of six thousand Naira ~N~6,000 will be given to them on The return of The academic gowns.
And also, PhD graduands will pay sixty five thousand naira ~N~65,000 from which twenty five thousand naira ~N~25,000 is refundable while those Who are intending to keep their gowns will pay a non-refundable fee of ~N~60,000 and they own The gown.
The university has directed all college secretaries/ faculty officers to commence issuance of gowns from Wednesday 18th of January 2017 in respective of college/faculties while graduand from BMS(Basic Medical science), clinical science, engineering and agricultural sciences are to collect theirs at The directorate of student affairs.
The return of academic gowns by all graduands must be compiled with by Friday 17th February 2017 to enable them merit The refundable deposit of six thousand Naira to be credited to graduands various bank account.
Note, the university warned that any one Who fail to comply with the conditions above will be asked to pay a penalty of ~N~6,000 per week.
All expected guests are strongly advice to be seated by 9:00pm on convocation day.
