REPORTS FROM MATRICULATION DAY

From Olawale Smart

Our reporter was not at there when the matriculation programme was still on formally inside lecture theatre, but saw the after party.

A very lively atmosphere reigned in Olabisi Onabanjo University, different gowns on different people and mixed together with well-wishers coupled with the meeting of buyers and sellers all in front of  LLT 1&2. Different emotions also run on people's face, some are happy, some looked stressed out while some had a face like they are up to something.

Different churches were at distinct canopies, all playing songs at the loudest volume ( even a deaf man would have heard something) and numerous hand bills and banners were something that will make the dumbest man say "what the hell!".

Despite the noise happy and gentle parents where under the canopies chilling with the kids and
snapping pictures.

Crises almost broke out but with quick intervention of the security men, it was averted. I was attracted to the place when I saw people running helter skelter, I tried to investigate what happened but everyone was panicking,so there was no one to give me an answer.

But what I eavesdropped when the security man was questioning on guy was that, two groups where against each other and they begin to chase each other about.
