OGUN ACP PROMISES BETTER STUDENT-POLICE RELATIONSHIP
The Assistant Commissioner of Police who was representing the Commissioner of Police of Ogun state addressed the issue of police harrassment during the SUG banneret launch,yesterday.
The students of OOU,immediately whistled their frustration over Ago-Iwoye police to the ACP as he stepped together with the D.P.O for police in Ago-Iwoye ,into the hall were the event was holding.
The ACP addressed the issue and told the students that the D.P.O of Ago-Iwoye and the SUG are working hand in hand,and the issue of harassment will soon be curbed. He promised that the student that there will be a better Student-Police relationship,but advised the student to remain calm and not resolute to violence.
He however did not fail to blow the trumpet about the achievement of the Nigerian Police. He said,"Nigeria Police are positioned the 3rd best Police Force in the world".
