ASUU-OOU SET TO RESUME
Indication has shown that the Academic Staff Union of Universities, Olabisi Onabanjo University chapter is set to resume work after embarking on a "no pay, no work" strike that lasted for about two months.
A source in the union, who spoke to ACJ-OOU on the basis of anonymity, disclosed that the union might probably call off the industrial action before this week ends after series of negotiations.
In his words, "the congress which is scheduled to hold on Thursday may put an end to the strike"
Meanwhile, it should be recalled that while our correspondent spoke with the ASUU-OOU Chairman some weeks ago, he disclosed to us that the strike can only be called off through a congress or a press conference.
