SABURI: THE IRREPLACEABLE HAND OF GOD
By Azeez Ibrahim.
With the clearance of students who owed the school authority one or two things and payments of salary owed by previous management during his first term in office, it is imperatives to hymn our own Lin qua yum.
As it is few months to the departure of our dear vice chancellor, Professor Saburi Adejimi Adesanya, all OOUITES, OOU staffs and Ogun state in general are convinced that he is a man of God and indeed is God sent.
Gone are those days when OOU was subject to series of criticisms such as corruption, students unseriousness, corruption and irregularities among its staff among others before its resurrection by the hand of God: Saburi.
Today, OOU has witnessed series of development in all ramifications in respect of academics activities which includes: tremendous school calendar that has ensured that OOUITES graduate as at when due compared to previous years, this has made the university to remain one of the fastest growing among its compatriots and won the coveted best state university award few months back.
Other achievements can be seen in infrastructural developments in all campuses, harmonious relationship between the students and the indigene of the state in its geographical locations, effective academic activities with computer base technology and result processing, payments of fees through the POS.
And discipline among the staffs and students of the school has also been on the high side.
With the above achievements, it's certain that the hand of God will remain irreplaceable in the memory of OOUITES, staffs and Ogun state in general.
